Desk Exercise to Stay Active

Many people complain of not being able to exercise due to having desk jobs. However, it is possible to do a desk exercise in order to remain active throughout the day. One thing that you can do at your desk is stand up throughout the day. You burn more calories while standing than sitting. If there is something that you can do at your desk, such as talking on the phone, while standing then that will help. You can also do leg curls while sitting in the chair. This does not cause too much of a distraction, and can still be done while working. You can also lift your arms in the air repeatedly for a minute at a time. This will get your heart pumping. Since there are things that you can do to burn calories while working at your desk, it is no longer necessary to use working indoors as an excuse.
